Abstract

An image processing apparatus having a corona device for charging a photoreceptor to voltage levels, a developer for applying toner to the photoreceptor including a sensor for providing signals in relation to current flow between the photoreceptor and the developer as a result of the developer applying toner to the photoreceptor on predetermined patches, and a corona control responsive to the signals for adjusting the corona device for charging the photoreceptor to adjusted voltage levels.
