Abstract

A pure DNA encoding a peptide which encodes a novel bombesin-related peptide, i.e., H-pGlu-Gln-Ser-Leu-Gly-Asn-Gin-Trp-Ala-Arg-Gly-His-Phe-Met-NH.sub.2 or Gly-Asn-Gln-Trp-Ala-Arg-Gly-His-Phe-Met-NH.sub.2. Also disclosed are a vector and a cell containing such a DNA, a pharmaceutical composition which includes such a peptide, and a method of preparing such a peptide by recombinant technology.
