Abstract

Copolyester compositions are provided which comprise the reaction product of at least one straight chain, branched, or cycloaliphatic C.sub.2 -C.sub.10 alkane diol or a chemical equivalent thereof, a mixture of at least two cycloaliphatic diacids or chemical equivalents thereof, the mixture comprising predominantly a trans-enantiomer, and at least one aromatic diacid or a chemical equivalent thereof. These copolyesters have superior ductility to the homopolymers of the diol component and either of the diacid components.
