Abstract
An herbal composition for the body is provided which promotes lipid metabolism by increasing the activity of a lipid metabolism enzyme in the body, and which has a weight reducing effect. The composition contains at least one component selected from fennel extract, inositol and dextrane sulfate. This composition is preferably employed in the form of an invigorating herbal gel for supple skin which is effective in increasing lipase activity and thus accelerating lipid metabolism.
