Abstract

Thiadiazole derivatives of general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from the class consisting of: C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 linear or branched alkyl, benzyl, optionally substituted at the aromatic ring with one or more groups selected on their turn from the class consisting of : C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 linear or branched alkyl residues , nitro groups, halogen atoms, C.sub.1 -C.sub.20 linear or branched alkoxy, hydroxy and C.sub.2 -C.sub.20 linear or branched acyloxy groups, R.sub.2 is selected from H, C.sub.2 -C.sub.10 alkanoyl, cycloalkanoyl wherein this ring has from 3 to 10 carbon atoms, aroyl, and R.sub.3 is selected from H and C.sub.1 -C.sub.10 alkyl, for the treatment of depressive states and anxiety, a process for their preparation and relative pharmaceutical compositions containing them as the active ingredient.
