Abstract

A dye transfer receptor sheet suitable for thermal dye transfer imaging is described which can provide a metal background to the transfered image. The receptor sheet comprises an organic polymeric substrate having a vapor deposited metal layer, a primer layer comprising a linear saturated thermoplastic polyester and a thermoset alkyd polyester, and a receiving layer.
