Abstract
A vector brush can be attached to the front face of a movable carriage of a device for cutting foil material. The vector brush includes an air brush, which can be adjusted in height, thereby adjusting the size of its atomizing cone. The motion of the air brush is controlled by the motion of the carriage in one direction and the motion of the foil strip moved underneath it in the perpendicular direction. After a pattern has been sprayed on the foil material with the vector brush, it can immediately be cut out with a cutting tool mounted on the same carriage.
