Abstract

The invention relates to spin finishes comprising compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is a straight-chain or branched alkyl radical of the empirical formula C.sub.n H.sub.2n+1 or a straight-chain or branched alkenyl radical of the empirical formula C.sub.n H.sub.2n-1 where n is in each case 1 to 9 and R.sub.2 is a straight-chain or branched alkyl radical of the empirical formula C.sub.n H.sub.2n+1 where n is 2 to 16, and also to their use as spooling oils for synthetic fibers.
