Abstract

A process for identifying the location to which an agricultural chemical composition has been applied whereby a water soluble, alkyleneoxy substituted fugitive colorant is added to said agricultural chemical composition prior to its application. The colorant is nontoxic to aquatic life and may be used within the watershed of a body of water having aquatic life. Preferred colorants include alkyleneoxy substituted triphenylmethane and azo dyes.
