Abstract

A process for the production of N-.beta.-hydroxyalkyl-tri-N-carboxyalkyl-1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane and N-.beta.-hydroxyalkyl-tri-N-carboxyalkyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetrade cane derivatives and their metal complexes is described.
