Abstract
A composition suitable for making coatings, binders and films and the process for the preparation of the composition are disclosed. Accordingly, nylon-1 which contains structural units conforming to ##STR1## where R and R' are organic radicals, and which contains an amount of unpolymerized NCO groups, is reacted with a monofunctional blocking agent to produce a first product. The resulting first product is then reacted with an isocyanate-reactive product to produce a second product. The second product is suitable for the preparation of films, binders and coatings.
