Abstract

A combat training system which includes individual processing pods on each aircraft or combat platform. The pods use signals from GPS satellites to determine the position of the respective aircraft, communicate to signal ordnance launch, and determine hits or misses based upon stored missile models. The combat training system further accommodates electronic warfare training. Jamming indicators, including real or simulated jamming signals, are transmitted by a weapons platform or it corresponding pod. The receiving platform adjusts it own real or simulated transmission based upon the received transmission signal. Calculations of hits or misses are determined by the effects of the jamming.
