Abstract

A poly(ethylene 2,6-naphthalate) film obtained by stretching a poly(ethylene 2,6-naphthalate) sheet containing cross-linked polymer particles which have at least one ethylene glycol unit and have an average particle size of from 0.05 to 3 .mu.m and a spherical ratio of from 1.0 to 1.1, wherein a deformation ratio of the cross-linked polymer particles in the stretching is from 1.2 to 3.0, has excellent runnability, abrasive resistance and strength.
