Abstract
Disclosed is a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon a hydrophilic colloidal layer comprising at least one silver salt of a compound having at least one acid group in the molecule, and the compound is represented by Formula I, Formula II or Formula III: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a group selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group and a heterocyclic residue; L.sub.1, L.sub.2, L.sub.3 and L.sub.4 independently represent a methine group; n.sub.1 is an integer of 0 to 3; n.sub.2 is an integer of 0, 1 or 2 and R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group or an alkenyl group. Q.sub.1 represents a non-metal atom group necessary to complete a 5-membered or 6-membered heterocyclic ring; ##STR2## wherein R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a group selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, and a heterocyclic residue provided that R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are not hydrogen atoms at the same time, and Ar represents an aryl group; and ##STR3## wherein R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a group selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, and a heterocyclic residue provided that R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are not hydrogen atoms at the same time; and Ar represents an aryl group.
