Abstract
An aqueous dispersion or solution of a polymer obtained by free radical polymerization and comprising from 0.01 to 10% by weight of carboxyl groups --CO.sub.2 H or sulfo groups --SO.sub.3 H contains, as a crosslinking agent, a compound having at least two vinyl ether groups.
