Abstract

Modified polyester resins contain polyester blocks which have been obtained from dicarboxylic acids and dialcohols, groupings of the formulae ##STR1## where X=Z=a hydrocarbon radical having 1 to 20 C atoms and Y=a hydrocarbon radical having 2 to 25 C atoms, and if appropriate groupings originating from crosslinking agents. They can be used as base polymers for toners.
