Abstract

The present invention provides a disazo salt-forming dye having excellent solubility with organic solvents, especially alcohols and glycols. The present invention thus provides a disazo salt-forming dye represented by the Formula (I): ##STR1## or the Formula (II): ##STR2## wherein Ka.sup.+ represents a cation of an amine which is substituted with at least one linear or cyclic alkyl group or aralkyl group having 6-12 carbon atoms which may be branched or interrupted by oxygen.
