Abstract

A thermosetting composition is prepared by reacting a highly crosslinked nylon-1 which contains structural units corresponding to ##STR1## where R is an organic radical with a isocyanate-reactive compound. In carrying out the reaction the molar ratio of carbonyl groups to NCO-reactive groups is about 0.5:1 to 20:1. Desirable properties characterize the reaction product thus prepared.
