Abstract
Polymers containing a high percentage of vinyl alcohol units, especially when treated to remove impurities, when blended with copolymers of alkyl (meth)acrylates, N-vinyllactams or N-vinylamides, and unsaturated acids, preferably further with a small amount of plasticizer, may be applied as hot melt adhesives to paper, wood, and other cellulosic articles.
