Abstract
The present invention is a method for transferring an image to a card by using a thermal transfer sheet having a separation layer provided on one side of a base layer and an image receiving layer on the separation layer for receiving dyes that move from a dye transfer sheet. This method includes placing the thermal transfer sheet on the card and pressing them between a pair of rubber roller having a hardness of 70.degree. to 90.degree. heated to a temperature of 130.degree. C. to 180.degree. C. under a pressure of 3 to 15 kg/cm.sup.2.
