Abstract

Addition-curable platinum group metal catalyzed silicone compositions are provided which utilize a bis(trialkoxysilylalkyleneoxycarbonylalkylene)amine adhesion promoter, such as NH[CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 C(O)OCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 Si(OCH.sub.3).sub.3 ].sub.2. Cohesive bonding is effected on both plastic and metal substrates at temperatures of 100.degree. C. or less and in 1 hour or less.
