Abstract
Pharmaceutical compositions containing at least one compound of Formula I, ##STR1## where X is a hydrogen atom or both X's represent a direct link between the two sulphur atoms; Y is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl and n represents a number from 1 to 10, or their pharmaceutically acceptable salts including .alpha.-lipoic acid and dihydrolipoic acid. The pharmaceutical compositions are useful for the treatment of diseases caused by retroviruses.
