Abstract
A portable tool for use by locksmiths and the like with an indexable slide having a positioning hole for nicely receiving a conventional chisel-type stamp. The tool has an adjustable clamp for releasably gripping and retaining a thin object, such as a key blank on a key bed beneath the slide and positoning hole. Spaced detents provide a guide for spacing and, by indexing the slide as desired, the stamp indicia can be applied in a neat and evenly spaced manner.
