Abstract
A room temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber composition comprising a polyorganosiloxane terminated with silanol groups, an alkoxysilane of the formula R.sup.1 Si(OR.sup.2).sub.3 or its partially hydrolyzed condensate, colloidal calcium carbonate surface-treated with rosin acid, and a curing catalyst. This composition has excellent workability, and, after curing, becomes a high-strength, high-modulus rubber having excellent adhesion and resistance to humidity and hot water, and is useful as a sealing material for sealed insulating glass.
