Abstract
A light-sensitive article comprising (a) at least one layer of photopolymerizable material containing a polymerizable compound having at least one ethylenically unsaturated group, and a chromophore-substituted halomethyl-1,3,5-triazine photopolymerization initiator; (b) at least one layer of thermoplastic resin in contact with the layer of photopolymerizable material, said chromophore-substituted 1,3,5-triazine photopolymerization initiator capable of resisting migration to said layer of thermoplastic resin. The invention eliminates the problem of discoloration of the background resulting from excessive migration of the photoinitiator from the layer of photopolymerizable material to the contiguous layer of resin. The invention is especially useful in the preparation of surprint color proofs.
