Abstract

An oral composition of acceptable taste substantially non-irritating to oral tissue and stable to viscosity change during storage is disclosed wherein the composition contains a surfactant system comprised of a sodium lauryl sulfoacetate surfactant purified to contain less than 18% by weight impurities and an C.sub.12 -C.sub.22 alkyl glycoside.
