Abstract

A laminated piezoelectric device is formed by sandwiching a relatively rigid central electrode layer with a pair of piezoelectric polymer films and then with a pair of outer electrode layers which are less rigid than the central electrode layer. The laminated piezoelectric device, as a whole, has a good flexibility and shows good piezoelectric characteristics represented by a hydrostatic piezoelectric constant d.sub.h and a symmetrical vibration characteristic. The outer electrode layers may preferably be constituted as a sprayed coating electrode which shows good solderability and peel strength.
