Abstract
A photoreceptor includes a charge generating layer having: 1) a photogenerating pigment purified by sublimation at a pressure not greater than 10.sup.-3 Torr and subsequent condensation of the photogenerating pigment at a temperature less than about 100.degree. C.; and 2) a film-forming binder.
