Abstract

A process for increasing the crystallization rate and crystallization temperature of thermoplastic polyesters by incorporating into the polyesters quaternary ammonium salts in amounts effective to increase the crystallization temperatures of the polyesters at least 15.degree. C., which quaternary ammonium salts are substantially free of metal salts of organic acid functional groups. Molding compositions of thermoplastic polyesters and quaternary ammonium salts present in amounts effective to increase the crystallization temperatures of the polyesters at least 15.degree. C.
