Abstract

The heat-transfer medium compositions of this invention contain biphenyl, diphenyl ether and diphenylene oxide with diphenylene oxide added in a proportion of 1 to 30% by weight and they are useful for high-temperature equipment such as chemical reactors and solar heat power plants for their long-term serviceability in the vicinity of 400.degree. C. and their fluidity at ambient temperature.
