Abstract

Novel N-cyclohexylbenzamide derivatives of formula: ##STR1## where R.sub.1 represents an alkoxy radical capable of cyclizing with the aromatic ring; R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 each independently represent hydrogen, a halogen or an alkoxy, amino, alkylamino or alkyl-carbonylamino group, and Z represents a differently substituted piperidinyl group; and their addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable acids. The compounds of formula I are powerful gastrointestinal motility stimulants.
