Abstract
Syndiotactic polypropylene fibers from syndiotactic polypropylene having a melting point of from 100.degree. C. to 160.degree. C. and desirably a polymer having blocks of repeating racemic dyads connected predominantly by units having a meso triad or a meso dyad and methods of making such fibers. Fabrics, yarns and tows made from these fibers are useful in the production of diapers, hospital gowns, and the like.
