Abstract
A fluorine-containing compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.f is a fluoroalkyl ether end group having 5 to 50 carbon atoms, R.sub.1 is an alkyl end group or an aliphatic alkenyl end group, R'''.sub.2 is an aliphatic alkylene group and R.sub.4 is an aliphatic alkylene group having no or one or more carbon atoms. This fluorine-containing compound can be utilized in magnetic recording media in the form of a lubricant composition.
