Abstract
There is disclosed a method for forming a dye image which comprises a step of processing, with a color developing solution, a photo-sensitive silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon a silver halide emulsion layer. The method is characterized in that said silver halide emulsion layer comprises silver halide grains having a silver chloride content of not less than 90 mol. %; said photosensitive silver halide photographic material comprises a white pigment in an amount of not less than 3.5 g per m.sup.2 of said photographic material; and said photosensitive silver halide photographic material is, after being processed with the color developing solution, processed with a bleaching solution (BL-1) and subsequently with a fixing solution.
