Abstract
The present invention provides a cleaning composition for a resin molding machine which comprises 50 to 95% by weight of a polyolefin resin having a melt index of 0.01 to 0.5, 0.1 to 15% by weight of an acrylic copolymer, 2 to 30% by weight of a neutral salt of organic sulfonic acid and 0.1 to 10% by weight of basic magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, potassium carbonate, zinc carbonate or a mixture of two or more thereof. This composition is suitable for the cleaning of the molding machine at a time of changeover of super-engineering plastics at the molding temperature of the plastics which is about 400.degree. C.
