Abstract
Disclosed is a diarylmethoxypiperidine compound represented by the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein Ar.sup.1 and Ar.sup.2 each represent a phenyl group which may be substituted by a specific substituent, or a pyridyl group; X represents an alkylene group or a group having ##STR2## where n represents an integer of 1 to 8; Y represents oxygen atom or a group having --CONH--; and Z represents a phenyl group having at least one specific substituent as defined in the specification; and pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
