Abstract
The invention describes novel 1-arylimidazoles of formula (I) ##STR1## wherein typically preferred substituents are: X is S(O).sub.n R.sub.1, in which R.sub.1 is an alkyl group, preferably a methyl group, which is fully substituted by halogen atoms, and n is 0, 1 and 2;
