Abstract
Disclosed are mitomycin derivatives of formula (I): ##STR1## where W represents halogen; X represents methoxy, amino or ethylenimino; Y represents hydrogen or methyl; Z represents hydrogen or methyl; and one of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represents carbamoyloxymethyl, and the other represents hydrogen. The derivatives are usable as an antitumor and antibacterial agent.
