Abstract
The length of the retrace portion of a vertical sawtooth signal is controlled by a microprocessor. In this way, the same type of an integrated circuit that includes the sawtooth generator can be used for generating the sawtooth signal required either for a switch or a non-switch vertical deflection circuit output stage.
