Abstract
A spray gel base having an excellent spread-stick property, which is prepared by thickening a 0.2-1.5 % by weight aqueous solution of carboxyvinyl polymer with a water-soluble basic substance, followed by adjusting the viscosity thereof with a viscosity adjustor within the range of 500-5,000 centipoise so that the particle size distribution of spray after spraying is over 80% in the area of 20-100 .mu.m and a spray gel preparation having an excellent spread-stick property, which is prepared by mixing an active medicament with said spray gel base.
