Abstract
There is provided a resin having a high refractive index. The resin is a polymer comprising units derived from a sulfur-containing unsaturated compound. The present invention also provides novel sulfur-containing unsaturated compounds which in useful in the production of the resin. Examples of these compounds include ##STR1## and CH.sub.2 .dbd.CCH.sub.3 COSCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 SC.sub.3 H.sub.6 SCH.sub.3.
