Abstract
A thermosensitive recording material comprising a leuco dye, a color developer and a water-soluble lubricant such as an alkylphosphate compound having formula (I) or (II): ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 each independently are an alkyl group, an alkynyl group or a monovalent metallic element, but they cannot be the metallic element at the same time; or ##STR2## wherein R.sub.4 is an alkyl group or an alkynyl group, and R.sub.5 is a monovalent metallic element.
