Abstract
A process for the kinetic resolution of cis or trans enantiomeric mixtures of the compounds of formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.3 and X have the meanings reported in the specification and the asterisks mark the asymmetric carbon atoms, is described. The compounds of formula III-A are intermediates useful in the preparation of compounds active on the cardiovascular system.
