Abstract
In thermoplastic elastomers selected from the group consisting of the thermoplastic polyurethanes, of the polyetheresters and of the polyetheramides which are derived from polyetherpolycarbonatediols as diol components, the polyetherpolycarbonatediols used are reaction products of phosgene, dialkyl carbonates having C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl groups or cyclic carbonates having C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkylene bridges or mixtures thereof with mixtures of
