Abstract
A transport guide member for transporting a toner-image-bearing transfer sheet to an image-fixing unit with the image-bearing side up thereon, comprising a grounded slide-contact layer having a volume resistivity of 10.sup.6 to 10.sup.13 .OMEGA..multidot.cm, along which the above-mentioned transfer sheet is transported with the back side thereof opposite to the image-bearing side thereof being in contact therewith.
