Abstract

Use of compounds of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which Ar, R and X have the meaning indicated in the description, for combating phytopathogenic fungi in agriculture. The compounds of the formula (I), are known and can be prepared by analogous processes, for example by oxidizing the corresponding thio compounds, for example using potassium permanganate.
