Abstract
Compounds of the formula I are described: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 independently of one another each represent a hydrogen atom, a (C.sub.1 -C.sub.2) alkyl group, a hydroxy (C.sub.2 -C.sub.3) alkyl group or a 2,3-dihydroxypropyl group and X is a fluorine atom, with the proviso that when R.sup.1 or R.sup.2 is hydrogen then the other is not a hydroxy (C.sub.2) alkyl group; processes for their preparation and aqueous hair coloring agents containing these compounds.
