Abstract

A thermosensitive recording material comprising a substrate and a thermosensitive coloring layer, formed thereon, which comprises a leuco dye; at least one color developer selected from the group consisting of 1,5-bis(4-hydroxyphenylthio)-3-oxapentane and 1,7-bis(4-hydroxyphenylthio)-3,5-dioxapentane; and an isocyanuric acid derivative of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 independently represent hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, provided that at least either R.sup.1 or R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and R.sup.2 represents --C.sub.n H.sub.2n OH in which n is an integer of 0 to 4.
