Abstract

The compounds of formula I ##STR1## wherein n is 1 or 2, R.sub.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are, for example, alkanoyl or alkanoyloxy or R.sub.3 may also be, for example, alkanedioyl, are suitable for stabilizing chlorine-containing polymers against thermal and light-induced degradation. Some of the compounds of formula I are novel.
