Abstract

A method and apparatus for developing a latent magnetic image in which a layer of magnetically attractable toner powder having a specific resistance less than 10.sup.9 ohms.meter is conveyed by a toner conveyor to a developing zone past a medium carrying the latent image and an AC voltage is applied between the toner conveyor and the medium carrying the latent image.
